Steven Orrego Upegui is a Colombian non binary dancer who has trained and performed throughout NYC specializing in company work as well as video and film. Their New York training includes the Jazz and Contemporary Trainee program at the Joffrey Ballet School, as well as Peridance Capezio Center Certificate Program. Also had the opportunity to perform with several companies including Baira Mvmnt Philosophy, Revolución Latina, XY Dance Project, Jazz Ain't Dead, LaneCoArts, and Apprentice at Elisa Monte Dance. Most recently Stevens dancing has been included in several projects around the US, including World premiere of “On Your Feet en Español” in Washington DC at The Gala Hispanic Theater. Has represented Latinx owned organizations at the 34th annual Easter Bonnet Competition at the Minskoof Theater, films including an extensive art installment featuring Tyler Gilstrap and at the Windmill factory for the Panorama Music Festival in NYC. You can also find Steven performed at the Playbill “Courting up” concert in Time Square;  as well as off Broadway ‘In the Boros Live Concert’ and The 2023 Telemundo Upfronts.
