Corinne Shearer is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Shearer graduated from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Performance and a Concentration in Dance Composition. Her work, both live and film, has been presented at numerous venues across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Jersey City including Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Arts on Site, SMUSH Gallery, The Baumann, and the Actors Fund Arts Center, as well as in the UK at the University of East London Stratford and the Short+Sweet Festival in Los Angeles. Shearer has been an artist-in-residence at The Triple Nine Festival and was selected to perform an evening-length work for Triskelion Arts’ Split Bill. She is also on staff at the West Side YMCA with the Early Education and Arts departments.
