At One Day Dance, we believe that dance has the power to connect people across cultures and communities. Our mission is to inspire, entertain, and educate through the art of dance and film. We accomplish this by creating innovative and high-quality dance films that showcase fresh choreography and are accessible to a worldwide audience. We also offer workshops and intensives to prepare future professional dancers to thrive as artists in the 21st century. In addition, we provide comprehensive media and film services to dancers, dance companies, and other dance-related institutions. Our goal is to transform the dance scene by making it more inclusive and accessible to all.

OUR INITIATIVES
We are dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists in their journey, and that's why each year we bring in 8 choreographers to create new work for our season. Each choreographer is given 24 hours to create a dance film for the season. We believe in providing opportunities for artists to showcase their unique perspectives and creative visions. As part of our commitment to supporting artists, we never charge application or audition fees.
Additionally, we are thrilled to produce our annual ODDFEST Dance Film Festival, a separate initiative that celebrates dance on film. With ODDFEST, we create a platform for 12 dance filmmakers to showcase their work each year, and we are excited to bring these inspiring films to our community here in NYC.

One Day Dance offers quality media services for dancers, choreographers and dance institutions. What sets us apart is that our designers are also professional dancers with a experiential understanding of the craft. We offer competitive pricing to ensure that our services remain accessible to artists at every stage of their career. At One Day Dance, we are passionate about helping people excel as individuals while also increasing visibility and engagement in our field. A portion of revenue from our media services funds the company’s choreographic initiatives. Each time you choose to work with One Day Dance, you are giving back to the dance community, helping us to provide other creatives with opportunities to develop and showcase their work.

At One Day Dance, we offer community classes and workshops for dance studios that focus on the craft of dance film creation. Our classes are taught by experienced professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with others. We believe that through education and collaboration, we can help both young and seasoned artists alike achieve their full potential and create meaningful works of art. Our classes are designed to be accessible to pre-professional and professional dancers. We are committed to supporting the dance community and are dedicated to helping artists grow and succeed in their careers.
